Knowing Jesus.

Making Him known.

This is the heartbeat of MG|YM, not just as a youth group but as children loved by our Heavenly Father.

The MG|YM Mission

Abiding in the love and life of Christ is our home, our hope, and our joy. Making Him known is the relational overflow of being safe, known, and forgiven.

  • We are a super fun community of young people who inspire our church family to be curious, light-hearted, welcoming, and connected. We love digging into God’s Word, especially the stories and passages that don’t make sense at first. Ultimately, we want to know Jesus and make Him known through the way we love our families, behave in school, spend our time, and live our lives.

  • MG|YM is located at the church. We gather year-round, but when and how often depends on the season. During the school year we meet on Sundays from 6 to 8 pm. We gather for 1 to 2 events per month over the summer season.

  • A typical night with the youth includes great fun, intentional connection, and deliberate teaching. More often then not, it is the youth that pick the topics! They also pick the games. Some fan favorites include different styles of tag, relay races, noodle hockey, dodgeball, 4 on a couch, telephone pictionary, and fish bowl.

Oh, and there’s always snacks! Can’t forget the snacks.

  • Youth parents are asked to download the GroupMe app, where they are invited to connect with one another and the MG|YM leadership team. Youth pastor, Kyle Amig, is available for more specific questions or concerns.

  • There are many ways to get involved with the youth group, including providing snacks, hosting events, or offering 1:1 discipleship. If you are feeling led to be a more intentional presence during youth group and want to learn more about joining the MG|YM leadership team, please contact Kyle Amig.

We are grateful to be a part of a church family that connects outside the four walls of our building, and in the same way, do not hesitate to encourage and support the youth even if they aren’t a MG|YM volunteer.
